That "S" Word....

You probably guessed it right away ...SNOW ! This morning marks the first glimpse of snowflurries. They started about 6:30 am when I was filling the feeder and have continued on and off for the past couple of hours - but no accululation on the ground yet ! It was quite evident that the change to colder weather (with it's inherent snow ) was soon to come - birds were wanting increased feeding and becoming quite active dive-bombing us and following us around the property. Our local deer herd moved into deep bush a couple of weeks ago to start feeding heavy in order to put on fat for the winter. And this morning it was 3 degress outside and our furnace came on for the first time !
