This morning was the first sign of the coming freezing over of the lake. The water is cold enough now for this icing to start. Most of the smaller lakes and certainly the ponds are frozen over with a thin layer of ice now. This picture was taken early this morning at -13 degC. As part of the national "Ice Watch" program of Environment Canada, we report the complete freezing of the lake from this location.
