Lake Trout in Loon Lake

This past summer the Ministry of Natural Resources did a netting survey to assess the lake trout health, sustenance, and population. You will recall that I previously mentioned the low number of netted lake trout. I have received the draft report from the MNR and they indicate that the results of the survey could indicate more intensive evaluation is required. I will be meeting with the MNR after the upcoming holiday season to discuss further.
