Hi-Speed Internet for Loon Lake?

Hi-Speed Internet over telephone lines is not on the radar screen for the forseeable futute.

While some providers do provide wireless Hi-Speed Internet options in the area now, those options are quite costly.

The County of Haliburton has indicated it will keep the Loon Lake area in mind for future funding applications and will advise Bell-Aliant of the interest in our area.

Bell-Aliant has indicated it will eventually articulate what will be delivered and by when as well as what alternatives are available for places not served from the Rural Connections Program.

Both the County of Haliburton and Bell-Aliant have recommended that all people who are interested in signing-up for Hi-Speed Internet contact Bell-Aliant and indicate their intents to have the services.
