At -11 degC this morning, it's safe to say that this week's thaw has passed! There was enough of a thaw combined with heavy rainfall to leave only 12 inches of snow on the ground with less on roofs. The lake this morning is like a smooth rink in most spots. The cottage roads, while having some exposed gravel, still have frozen slush and icy spots.
But Spring is coming!
