An Early Fall Morning

With the coming of fall, the lake starts to cool quite rapidly as the temperatures at night become lower. The lake is foggy almost every morning as the heat leaves the water. But once the sun rises and the air is warmed ever so slightly, the fog disappears. This picture was taken at that point just after daylight and just before the air got warm enough to clear the fog. Truly beautiful!
