These pictures show the culvert repair work taking place now on County Road #3, where the Burnt River flows toward Blue Hawk Lake under the highway . This is the same water that passes through our dam on the river. It's a mix of waters from Loon Lake, Miskwabi Lake and Long Lake. The culvert liner being assembled is 10 ft high by 12 ft wide. You can see the big diversion channel with culverts that had to be installed so work on the old culvert could proceed.
