Loon Lake's Water Quality

Water Quality is very important! And now we have just over one decade of continuous data for water quality testing in Loon Lake. By "water quality", I am referring to the nutrient providing capability of our lake. That nutrient providing capability is indicated by testing for water clarity using a Secchi Disc and by sampling water and testing for Total Phosphorus level concentrations. The results of the two tests indicate the ability of our lake to support a good algae growth that is vital to support food chains within our lake.
