A couple of weeks ago, I posted a picture of a pile of sticks and weeds that appeared mysteriously one morning on our big rock. Well, today we found out who put them there and what their purpose was. This beaver had left a cache on the rock and today it returned to not only eat but to catch a four hour nap – right through our first snowstorm of this winter. Below is the beaver asleep and covered in snow!
