Mother and youngster are still here! The youngster is still quite pesky as it swims around and constantly wants mom’s attention. When it tried to climb up on her back, like it did months ago, she pecked at it and told it to get away! You can see they’re about the same size and we’re waiting now to see the youngster trying to fly. Hopefully that won’t be too far away, as we’re starting to see ice forming on ponds, rivers, and lakes.
