Winter continues to slowly arrive at Loon Lake. The lake is not frozen and we have about 3cm (1") of snow on the ground. Roads around the lake are still accessible and the highways are excellent. The lake water levels are rising as they do every year at this time.
Haliburton has had it's excellent night time Santa Clause parade. And it's worth a trip into town to see the new main street with buried wiring, a new road surface, curbs, and interlocking brickwork sidewalks.
