Today is one week later than the ice traditionally goes out. We're supposed to have warm weather tomorrow and I hope it gets windy. The ice is just floating slush now, although I'm sure there's probably some a bit thicker had harder to break up somewhere. If you look carefully at the bottom photo, there's someone's raft that was retrieved by boat about one hour after the photo was taken. There's also another loose raft in First Bay that is damaged and missing several drums.
