It's Here !

It looks like winter's arrived - and right on schedule. Traditionally, the second week of the Ontario deer hunt sees snow that arrives and stays on the ground! There are exceptions, but this year doesn't seem to be one of them. There's about two centimeters (under 1") covering everything.

Late yesterday afternoon, the Ministry of Transportation sanders were laying sand on the highways and late last night the flashing blue light, accompanied with the noise of the plow truck, was seen going down the highway.

I have a chore to finish and that's the cleaning up of trees that are near the edges of the roads so that snow plow blades won't hit them on their first run on our road.

Brrrrrr........
