Late yesterday the Trent Severn Waterway decided to remove one stop log from the Stump lake dam. Look closely at the blue line and you will note the sudden drop in the water level at the dam. It takes a while for the lake water levels to drop because of the sheer volumes of water from many sources combining into the Burnt River as they find their way to the dam and because of restrictions or resistances to flow.
