High winds mixed with showers removed about 50% of the ice from the lake overnight! Areas still holding ice are the South and East ends of the lake.

Loon Lake
About Loon Lake ....
Loon Lake is located in South-Central Ontario, about 8 miles east of the town of Haliburton. The center of the lake is located at N 45 00.971 and W 78 22.614 , in GPS terminology. Taking the top of the picture as North, the lake is 1.25 miles in an East-West direction and 1.58 miles in a North-South direction. The deepest measurment recorded in the lake is 114 feet.
