Spring is Still Coming!!

Last night's snowfall brought 25cm - 30cm (10in - 12in) snow overnight. High winds and -15 degC temperatures made it quite the night. There are snowdrifts everywhere that will make snow clearing a bit more of a challenge. A real advantage however with this snowfall is that it's not wet.

We're not completely snowbound since the road was just plowed by Hawk River. Super service!

Two days ago, I thought I heard a Canada Goose somewhere over the lake and yesterday we saw a goose resting in the river in town! That, when combined with the sighting of the Sea Gull standing on the Gull Islands rock the other day makes the big snowfall more than tolerable!
