More on Bugs

Well, the mosquitos haven't all been eaten by the dragonflys ! Both are still here but the mosquitos aren't so bad in the daytime - only from dusk onward. What has replaced the mosquitos in the daytime are the Deerflies - they are slightly bigger than large houseflies, have a greenish colour with somewhat triangular shaped wings. Not many horseflies yet. The deerflies seem to be here earlier than other years ( they are more of an August bug ! ). The deerflies are really pesty in broad sunlight around beaches - but they are back in the bush too!
