Earlier this year, I wrote an article published in the Loon Lake Cottager's Association Spring 2007 Newsletter titled " Loon Lake's Biodiversity ". At the end of the article I listed six "Do Not" items. Some of those items have actually occurred on our lake before and in fact still are happening. I thought I'd post a list of internet sites to visit that will give you some tips on what to do and not do to protect our lake. There are even tips on how to recover damaged shorelines. If you go on the internet and generally browse environmental websites, you will find there are dozens of them. Here are a few good ones:
