Our lake water levels continue to drop ! We are not at the lowest I've seen, and there's still water going over the dam . This picture, taken this morning, shows the mouth of the river near Sunrise.

Loon Lake
About Loon Lake ....
Loon Lake is located in South-Central Ontario, about 8 miles east of the town of Haliburton. The center of the lake is located at N 45 00.971 and W 78 22.614 , in GPS terminology. Taking the top of the picture as North, the lake is 1.25 miles in an East-West direction and 1.58 miles in a North-South direction. The deepest measurment recorded in the lake is 114 feet.
