Even though we've had a lot of rain and clouds, there's an occasional brief period of sunshine every day. This family of Merganzers decided to take a brief rest on our raft yesterday, during one of those rare sunny breaks. The juveniles were born a few weeks ago and so far all seven of them are doing quite well.
