Loon Lake Water Levels

Seems like "Here we go again !" as our water level now drops to a level expected later in the year. The reason , according to the Water Control Engineer at Parks Canada, is because of significant rainfall events following the annual Spring melt. He indicated they've had quite a time with the swings in water levels. He gave me the following link to follow for information about our water level and here it is:

http://www.pc.gc.ca/lhn-nhs/on/trentsevern/visit/ne-wl/trent_e.asp

Click on the link and once on the Parks Canada website, click on the Burnt River Watershed . Once on the map of the Burnt River Watershed, our lake is just right of center of the page. Click on the red dot representing our dam. On the next page, click "I Accept" on the disclaimer. The next page shows Loon Lake current and historical graphs.

Quite interesting !
