Once in a while, you see something that you've never seen before. This fungus, growing on the remains of a tree that fell down about four years ago, is only visible for a few seconds as you drive past it - if you happen to be looking in it's direction. What is unique about this fungus is it's size [about 8 inches in diameter] and it's flourescent orange colour; a colour usually seen only on safety equipment or trail tape.
