Baby Loon Update

The youngster, while not seen for a few days, is alive and doing very well. It is now about three times the previously seen size and has taken the shape of a loon. It's staying very close to it's mother and is not diving underwater yet. But it certainly is being well fed ! And the mother has protected it well, for it has had to avoid snapping turtles, muskies, and a nearby osprey.
