Worth the Paddle !

Here's a beaver dam well worth seeing. It's about one mile south of our dam on the Burnt River. Standing about two feet high so far, it's still under construction and fresh sticks can be seen mixed with the mud that's used to hold it all together. You can float to beside the dam and see it up close. The dam has made the depth of the river water deeper so you can paddle the river without scraping across any old dams, logs, or rocks.
