No, it's not a forest fire - it's the sunrise at 6:15 this morning. It only lasted for about fifteen minutes and was totally breathtaking. This is part of what living on Loon Lake is all about....

Loon Lake
About Loon Lake ....
Loon Lake is located in South-Central Ontario, about 8 miles east of the town of Haliburton. The center of the lake is located at N 45 00.971 and W 78 22.614 , in GPS terminology. Taking the top of the picture as North, the lake is 1.25 miles in an East-West direction and 1.58 miles in a North-South direction. The deepest measurment recorded in the lake is 114 feet.
