What a change from a week ago! We have over 27" snow on the ground and 18" on the cottage roads - and the snow is still coming down. There's over 18" on my roof. This is no doubt the worst storm I've seen here in the past 12 years. The road from the highway to our place has been plowed twice in the last two days. And it has been plowed again after last night's snowfall. Our plowing contractor, Hawk River, does an excellent job of keeping our road open! The lake is starting to freeze out 20 feet from shore. The photo was taken early this morning and the feeder was cleared of snow just before midnight last night! I'll try to get more pictures once I can get out and the storm has passed.
