The Mystery of Loon Lake's Changing Sands

Have you ever tried to get down the river to the dam in the late summer or in the fall ? It's almost impossible because of the shallow water created, in part, by sand bars. What's really interesting is that the sand bars haven't always been there. Decades ago, there were none. In fact the river was really quite different !
