The Bug Report.....

The good news is the bugs aren't bad. The bad news is they soon will be! So far, we have only blackflies and no mosquitoes or other species. The blackflies have barely started to bite and they are not yet to the swarming stage. This year, because of the weird weather, everything is advanced a couple of weeks. So, hopefully the blackflies will peak and be long gone before the 24th of May. But the mosquitos will no doubt move ahead of their normal schedule. My forecast is that the blackflies will be out in full force by the May 1-2 weekend and gone within a week.
