I must share this with you ! If you click on the following link, you will go to a live webcam in a Bald Eagle's nest on Hornby Island, British Columbia. There are two eggs under the mother, and if you are lucky, you will soon see the hatching of two eaglets ! And if you turn up the volume on your computer speakers, you will hear the wind in the nest.....

We have eagles in our own area. We have seen two Bald Eagles ourselves - one near Minden and one on the way into town - but Bald Eagles are very rare in this area. We have also seen Golden Eagles right above Loon Lake. They can be seen, during the summer months, hovering high above Loon Lake and Portage Lake. We have also seen them at very low levels in this same area. So far, we have no idea of where they have their nest!
