What A Surprise !

I haven’t seen this before at Loon Lake! Several years ago, and later into the summer, there was quite a lengthy period of algae bloom in the water and it accumulated along the shorelines. However, this was different – it was not only along the shoreline but into all nooks and crannies around the lake. And even more different – it wasn’t algae – it was pollen! Every year, there is some pollen as it gets on surfaces such as your car and makes a bit of a mess. But this year there was so much of it, we got it everywhere !
