It sure is summer with it’s combined heat and high humidity! Yesterday a storm did pass through our area, but there was not a lot of rain and no high winds, only some thunder and the occasional flash of fork lightning. The power was not interrupted and no trees were heard falling. While it’s early, we’re not aware of any damage around Loon Lake.
The water remains quite high and the bugs are quite bad. There are a lot of house flies with some horse and deer flies and the mosquitos are bad. On the good news side, the black flies are gone.
