Letting Mother Nature Do The Work

Sometime during Monday night we had a very windy moment that brought down a tree in front of our home. We were lucky in that the parts of the tree missed our satellite dish as well as the control box for our winter waterline heaters. But we found out that we were even luckier! Because of the terrible heat wave we’re having we thought we’d leave cleaning up the tree until another day. Not necessary – last night we watched the tree as it was being is being quickly disassembled and eaten by two beavers! Perhaps all we’ll have to clean up is the trunk….
