Springtime continues to come. The snow in the bush is really melting down fast. The roads around the lake are clearing and remain wet with some soft spots. The frost is still in the road beds. All fish huts are now off the lake and the ice is melting out from shore – about two feet now. The Trent Severn Waterway is starting to gather water and the lake level rose two inches vertically yesterday, a distance of about two feet on a beach. There are even some buds starting to open on ground bushes! We’ve even had our first thunderstorm of the year!
