Have you ever looked at Loon Lake and wondered just how much water is in the lake ? Or how long it would take to drain the water from the lake ? Most people probably wouldn’t ask themselves those questions, let alone ever think of them. But people who study water bodies, professionally or as a hobby, quite frequently wonder and often use the information in their studies to get more information or to find answers. Last fall, I decided to try and see just how possible it was to come up with an answer and just how meaningful the answer would be. So I did an experiment, came up with an answer, and wrote an article about it. Here’s the link to my article:
