Low Water in the Burnt
The water in the Burnt River is really starting to drop! It will go lower and stay there for a while and then start to rise later in the year. Once the nights get cold enough to start freezing, you can walk on the river bottom and explore around the driftwood and the nooks and crannies of the shoreline. It was late in the fall last year that we found what is believed to be the tip from a ski from a logging sleigh.
