Water's Rising !

The water in the Burnt River is starting to "come up". There's not a lot of current and that means that the Trent Severn Waterway people have a few logs in the dam.  The rise in level is also seen around the shoreline as rocks start to disappear from view.

While we're officially in "Spring", signs of winter are still here ...and we've just had over 6 inches of fresh snow.

There are only two fish huts left on the lake now and the sea gulls returned to the lake two days ago....but they had no open water at Gull Islands!

Highways remain in excellent condition as do roads around the lake.
