Until the middle of last night, Spring was really starting to show it's signs. But now, we are in the middle of a freezing rain storm and everything is covered with a thick, slippery blanket. Accompanying this storm are some of the highest winds I've heard in a long time. Hopefully the changes made to the power lines by Hydro over the past few years will help prevent any blackouts caused by ice damage.
I certainly don't recommend any travel under these conditions and it's best to stay indoors.
It will pass, and Spring will continue to arrive.
