The Spring melt is upon us ! And it's happening very quickly, with a overnight water level rising of about 4 inches. In talking to the Trent Severn staff this afternoon, they had just pulled a log from the dam and they are trying to keep on top of the problem. There is still a lot of snow in the bush, the ice has not gone from Loon Lake, and rain and warmer weather is in the forecast.
