West Shore & Loon Lake Update

The washouts on Gregory Lane were drivable by 4:30 this afternoon. And I must say that Fowler Construction did an excellent job!

While the Gregory Lane is in reasonable Springtime condition elsewhere, frost heaves and very muddy sections can be found in the vicinity of the Gregory Lane and Trillium Trail intersection. I do not recommend travelling beyond that intersection toward Portage Lake.

As you can see from the above photograph, the ice is still not off Loon Lake. Wind combined with rain over the next few days, should make the ice disappear.
