Water Levels at Loon Lake

As we head toward Spring, you may be wondering about the possibility of flooding again this year.

Here's the link to the Trent Severn Waterway website where you can see the water level at the dam at the end of Stump Lake.

The screen capture above shows some of the information available on the website.

Loon Lake is part of the Burnt River watershed.

The left hand side of the graph shows the water depth over the sill of the dam. That depth is continuously monitored by an electronic depth gauge and sent to the TSW offices.

As for Loon Lake, it's still well iced over!
