You never know what you'll see as you paddle and poke along the shores of Stump Lake. Now is an excellent time to visit since our water levels are higher than they have ever been for this time of year.
In this group of pictures, we have a time span from Circa 1967 (or earlier) with an crib log from an old bridge to a modern day "Poly" safety boom above the dam.
The view from the dam is nice and you can see that there's very little water flowing, since all the stop logs are in the dam.
Do be very careful in the vicinity of the dam.
