Water Test Results

The September water test results for E-coli sampling have come back and I've posted them in the "Useful Info" ; "Water Test Results" sidebar gadget.

You'll notice that while there are some zero's, there are four one's and three two's in the E-coli column. Not to be alarmed ! E-coli are frequently found in the lake water, at these very low levels, and are not to be considered as too threatening at this point. Note that "ZERO" is the only acceptable level for E-coli. These low levels traditionally clear to zero as we go through the winter.

The E-coli sampling is done by the Loon Lake Property Owner's Association (LLPOA) and is not the same as the chemical sampling done by either myself or the Ministry of the Environment. The results of chemical sampling and testing will be published later this year.
