The ice is out; the snow is gone; the ground is dry; and the roads are in good shape !
The Loons are back and calling.
The first boat was seen on the lake yesterday.
Believe it or not, the bug season has started too! While there are some mosquitos out, they are not biting. No sign of any blackflies yet, but I'm sure they won't be far behind.
What really matters is Spring is here and it's time to enjoy it. And get some work done outside the cottage!
Note that if you are cleaning up property, fire bans are in place.
