Our Fall Mystery

This pile of sticks and weeds is quite a mystery. Some animal has been slowly piling a collection from the bottom of the lake on top of our big rock! The sticks are too big for a muskrat to move; the mother and teenage otter that we've seen on the rock likely wouldn't do it; so it sort of leaves the beaver as a culprit. But it makes no sense why it would be doing it!
