Snow On The Ground

It never seems to stop ! It's hard to believe that Springtime is only a few weeks away. The depth of snow on our back lawn is 18" (46 cm). There's lots of snowdrifts and the snow beside the road is at shoulder height in some locations - and there's virtually no place to put plowed snow. Interestingly, this year there's a buildup of about 1" of ice on all plowed surfaces - roads and parking lots - and it's been there for weeks. So while there may be some snow on those spots, they are quite treacherous for driving or walking. Cleats on boots are the order of the day!
