
Here's a picture from last week's Echo showing a logging train that ran past Loon Lake back around 1922. I can remember the road, now called Trapper's Trail, that ran from just past Loon Lake into what is now called Miskwabi Lake. It was a two rut road that seemed to go forever once you started walking along it's path. The Standard Chemical Company had a plant in Donald as well as an operation at Benoir Lake.
