Spring continues to come ! Snow depth is slowly decreasing. The lake ice pan is now about one foot from shore and the water level in the lake is starting to rise. We understand some logs will probably be placed in the dam this week. On the travelled road the ice is gone. The road is quite muddy with the occasional really soft spot as frost continues to come out of the ground. A lot of water is passing through the big culvert as melt water gathers from Loon, Miskwabi and Long, and Winona lake areas.
A real positive note - our deer have once again returned from the deep bush areas where they spent the winter.
