About the only similarity between this visitor and some birds is the mask ! This picture was taken about 11:30 pm when all is normally quiet. How the masked robber every got into our "squirrel proof" feeder is beyond my wildest imagination. I noticed in the morning that a knot in the steel clothsline had been undone, perhaps as an attempt to drop the birdfeeder to the ground for easier raiding. I've heard that racoons an be very cunning and this experience is proof!
