On Monday, April 28 , the MNR, in cooperation with the Haliburton Highlands Outdoors Association - Fish Hatchery, stocked Loon Lake with over 2000 lake trout of the Redstone Lake strain. The fish were released at the government landing. Ironically, two loons were a few feet off the dock, busy watching the transfer !
