It's a long flight from the southern United States to the deciduous forests of Central and Northern Ontario ! I can remember seeing the male Rose-Breasted Grosbeak at our home only once before. Yesterday, we had three of these beautiful birds along with some Pine and Evening Grosbeaks. How very unusual to have them all arrive at once. We quickly filled our feeder since they were all very hungry.
